Discuss Your Goals
Exploring insurance

Start with the profession.
Build your foundation.

Learn what the work involves, how licensing fits into the process, and which education and business expenses may apply. You can have an introductory conversation before you are licensed.

Insurance sales require the appropriate license and applicable approvals.

What the work involves

Conversations with purpose.
Follow-through with care.

Field or telesales work centers on understanding families, explaining available insurance, and supporting the applicable process.

01 / UNDERSTAND

Listen to the family.

Ask questions about priorities, existing coverage, and budget. Give people space to explain what they need.

02 / EXPLAIN

Make the options clear.

Explain available coverage, costs, limitations, and the application process within your licensing and authorization.

03 / FOLLOW THROUGH

Work responsibly.

Keep accurate records, communicate appropriately, and support clients through the process. Insurers determine eligibility and issuance.

Support around your business

Know what each
resource is for.

AEG’s resource framework brings together learning, lead options, organization, and people. Access and availability are explained before you make a commitment.

Learning

A three-day bootcamp structure, a dedicated training portal, and guidance on the currently available lessons and sessions.

Lead options

Optional programs with pricing, availability, and purchase terms separate from the independent opportunity.

Organization

Discuss contact management, appointments, and follow-up tools, including setup, access, and applicable costs.

Personal guidance

Start with Andreas for the introduction, onboarding questions, and the appropriate contracting or support contact.

AEG Lead Solutions

Choose with a clear
view of the terms.

AEG Lead Solutions presents available lead programs, including digital inquiries and live transfers. Confirm the programs currently offered for your location and business approach.

Review pricing, availability, fulfillment, any exclusivity or shared-lead terms, and replacement policies before purchasing. Lead purchases are optional and paid separately.

Explore Lead Solutions

Opens the separate lead-program website and its provider registration flow. Leads do not guarantee contact, appointments, sales, or income.

Bring these questions.

  • Which lead program suits my intended approach?
  • What are the purchase terms and total costs?
  • How are leads delivered and how does follow-up work?
  • Which contact permissions and producer responsibilities apply?

A clear lead plan starts with understanding the specific program you are considering.

New to insurance

Preparation comes first.

01

Understand the role.

Discuss the work, independent business model, available support, and expenses before investing in a new path.

02

Confirm your state’s licensing process.

Review the applicable education, exam, application, background-check, and fee requirements with your state’s insurance department.

03

Complete the applicable approvals.

A course or exam alone does not authorize sales. Confirm license approval, contracting, and required carrier appointments before regulated activity.

04

Get oriented to your next step.

If you and AEG proceed, receive the relevant onboarding guidance and current training-resource information.

A clear business decision

Understand the responsibilities.

This is an independent, commission-based opportunity. There is no salary or employee benefits.

Compensation follows your applicable written agreements and business placed. Advances, when offered, can be subject to chargebacks. Licensing and other business expenses are your responsibility, and optional lead purchases are separate.

Income, sales, appointments, advancement, and acceptance are not guaranteed. Review the relevant agreements and costs, including any existing obligations to another agency, before deciding to proceed.

Your introduction

Come with questions.
Leave with a clearer next step.

A conversation with Andreas gives you a place to explain your goals and understand the opportunity. There is no obligation to continue.
